I have an anterior maxillary 6-unit bridge, abutment teeth are #11 and #6. Those canines are loose. There is ample bone. There is some decay in #11 but the tooth is so loose that it's not worth fixing. The bridge could go any time. I have panoramic x-rays which I can send you and have already seen my endodontist, Dr. Koshiyama, and my general dentist. I interned at UOP when I was trying to get in years ago and still read osseonews and am familiar with the techniques, so I don't need a preliminary interview yet. I need implants to replace the canines. I do not need any porcelain work done. I wonder if you could give me an idea how much that would cost. You can see it all from the panoramic x-rays. I would probably have the extractions and temporary done by my own dentist. An orthopedic surgeon does a sample on the test, including replacing harvested bone. You do that? Who actually puts in the implants? You? My only concern is whether, since there is bone at 11 and 6, a longer implant might not be better and still not penetrate the sinus membrane. Absolutely do not want a sinus lift.
